Q&A–: Tips on lighting and set etc. for a photoshoot?
I have been into photography for almost 2 years now and I’ve never taken any classes or anything. I’ve mostly taken pictures of flowers and animals but now, after seeing my work, my friend wants me to take some nice, professional pictures of her.

I have a FujiFilm FinePix s2000HD and I was wondering about which settings and things I should use for her pictures? Also, any tips on lighting and maybe some kind of background? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

dog photography tips–: dog photography?
I have always wanted to be a photographer. I have taken a few classes, won awards and have a passion for it.
i love animals too. I recently was “nominated” to take the picts for our fosters for petfinder and all of our adoption events. After doing this I realized how much fun I had.
I might want to look into doing this for friends and family.
Anyone have any tips on how to do this.
(just something small for friends and family)
Here are a few of my photos:

Q&A–: ANYTHING about macro photography?
I have a canon rebel T1i (500D) and I want to start shooting macro. Because every time I go outside to take pictures, it always, or usually seems to be macro. I try and get as close as I can to everything and the lens can never focus. So I was researching about macro lenses and I was thinking about getting the canon 100mm macro, non L version. I just got a tripod also for the lens and camera.

So basically I just want to know anything anyone needs to know about macro. It could be cameras settings, lenses, tips, things to photograph, anything. I just need to know the basics to getting started to macro photography.
